rehearsals
The first rehearsal of the 2011-2012 season (for all emsembles) will take place on Sunday September 25, 2011.
Rehearsals take place every Sunday afternoon. They begin in September and run through to May, and are divided between full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals with occasional masterclasses and workshops. Rehearsals for the Wind Orchestra and Concert Winds take place at St. Michael's College School, located at 1515 Bathurst Street on the corner of Bathurst and St. Clair (St. Clair West subway station). Rehearsals for the Symphonic Winds take place at York Mills Collegiate Institute, 490 York Mills Road.

St. Michael's College School is located in downtown Toronto at the NE corner of Bathurst St. and St. Clair.
From the 401: Exit at the Allen Expressway South (just past Yorkdale Shopping Centre) and take it to the end. Turn left from the end of the Allen on to Eglinton. Turn right on to Bathurst. The entrance to the parking lot is on the left, just before the Petro Canada Station and St. Clair West.
From the Gardiner Expressway: Take the Spadina exit from the Gardiner Expressway. Take Spadina north to Dundas St and turn left. Take Dundas St to Bathurst St and turn right. St. Michael's College School is located at Bathurst and St. Clair Avenue.
TTC: Take the subway to St. Clair West Station. Walk west on St. Clair Avenue to Bathurst St. St. Michael's College School is located at 1515 Bathurst Street, directly behind Loblaws. |

York Mills Collegiate Institute is located on the north side of York Mills Road, between Bayview and Leslie.
From the 401: Travelling from the west end, exit at Bayview Avenue. Travel south to York Mills Road and turn left (east). The school will appear on your left-hand side. If travelling from the east end, exit at Leslie Street. Travel south to York Mills Road and turn right (west). The school will appear on your right-hand side.
From the Gardiner Expressway: Exit at Don Valley Parkway and travel north to York Mills Road. Turn left at York Mills. The school will appear on your right-hand side.
TTC: Take the subway to York Mills Station. Transfer to the 95 York Mills East bus. The school will appear on your left-hand side and there is a bus stop in front of the school. |
